Our Story
L&R Painting was founded by Luis Reyes on a simple idea: do the prep work properly and the paint takes care of itself. Working out of South Minneapolis, we've grown almost entirely by word of mouth — one finished room, one repainted house, one referred neighbor at a time.
Today we serve Minneapolis and the west metro — Minnetonka, Plymouth, Golden Valley, Excelsior, Wayzata, Woodland, and Medina. We handle interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, cabinet refinishing, staining, and popcorn ceiling removal, so one crew can finish the whole project instead of three.
We're licensed, insured, and bilingual in English and Spanish. We cover your floors and furniture before we start, clean up at the end of every day, and give you a firm written estimate up front. And Luis is on the job — not just on the invoice.
